Valentine's Day
We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Wednesday, February 13. If your child would like to bring valentines to hand out to the class please note the following:
1) Bring one valentine for each child in the class. Our largest class has 21 children.
2) Students are encouraged to only sign their name. Cards may be addressed "To my friend". Please DO NOT address cards to individual students. You can imagine how busy each teacher would be if they were handing out 21 valentines from each child.
3) Please DO NOT attach food items. Cards with food items will be returned.
Alien In-Line Skating Volunteers
We will need LOTS of volunteer help with the Alien Inline Skating program. If you have a valid police clearance we hope you will consider helping our class to get into their gear safely and quickly. Please follow the link to sign up.

Last Week:
We continue to learn about being responsible learners by cleaning
up after ourselves.
We learn in many different ways in our kindergarten classrooms!
As we continue to explore and appreciate our unique characteristics we have had many
discussions about our emotions. The students were given opportunities to become aware of who they are as unique individuals and to express themselves by sharing their personal stories.
We also did some role-playing games and made play dough emojis.
